duplex-links and defaults

Hello -

I'd like to use a duplex-link to create a time division link between two
nodes.  Is there a way to do this?

Also, is there any way to change the defaults for things like BW and
time?  For example, "$object set timevar 1.5" implies seconds.  Can I
make it imply milliseconds?
