Hi, 

Please read nam/ex/README before you run these example traces. E.g., for
simple_mcast.nam, you should run 

nam -f dynamic.conf simple_mcast.nam 

instead of 

nam simple_mcast.nam

Or you could download the nam 1.0a3 patch from
mash.cs.berkeley.edu/ns/nam-problems.html. A number of other problems with
nam are described there.
