WHAT'S NAM?
- ----------

Nam is a Tcl/TK based animation tool for viewing network simulation traces
and real world packet traces. It supports topology layout, packet level
animation, and various data inspection tools.

Nam began at LBL. It has evolved substantially over the past few years.
The nam development effort is now an ongoing collaboration with the VINT
project.

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.0a3?
- ------------------

Nam includes:

- - Ability to save animations as a series of screen dump files, then
converted to mpeg movies through post-processing.

- - Compatible with Tcl/TK 8.0, Win32, Tcl 7.6/TK 4.2.

    instance(s).
