Agent Question...
Hi. I have created connectionless SRC and SINK agents in NS. The SRC simply
sends a packet to the SINK and the SINK responds with an ACK. Everything
works fine except the SRC agent does not receive the ACK. I know that
the ACK is sent from the SINK to the SRC because I can see it in NAM; however,
the recv method is never called in the SRC agent in response to the ACK.
Any idea as to what the problem might be? Possibly the problem is that the
ACK is sent to the wrong port. (That is, ACK is not sent to the port on
which the SRC agent is listening.) Could this be the problem? If so,
how do I set the destination port for packets coming from the SINK in Otcl?
Any other ideas as to the possible problem?
Thanks,
Jeff
PS My agents are implemented in C++. Also, the SRC multicasts its packets
to the SINK receivers.
