NS Segmentation errors and disappearing acks
All
I have some strange things happening with ns 2.1b2. NS fails with a
segmentation error when I remove a line of #'s from the tcl code. Even
weirder when I remove all but a few of the #'s in the line ns works fine
but does not record any acks in the trace file. When I add the #'s the
acks come back. I can trigger the error with any character in the file
so its not directly related to '#' s My tcl code is pretty simple as
I'm just recreating some of the simulations in a Fall/Floyd paper. In
another simulation in the same source code file I get the error
"scoreboard too large".
I'm using ns-2.1b2 compiled with gcc 2.7.2.3 on linux 2.0.20
(slackware). I tried ns-2.1b3 but gcc complains about declarations for
random() and fails.
Any ideas out there about what's causing these
errors?
Thnx,
art mena
