RE: Problem with installing ns
Modify ./install. Find the segment started with a comment line "#compile and install ns". Simply insert --with-tcldebug=no behind ./configure. The same should be done in segment of nam too. Then re-run ./install.
good luck.

Subject: Problem with installing ns
Dear Sirs,
I run Red Hat Linux 4.2 on my GP6-300 Gateway2000 PC.
I tried several times to install the 'allinone' ns package from your web site,
ns-allinone-2.1b2.tar.gz to wit, gunzipping & untarring it, and typing
./install in the resulting directory ns-allinone, but each time the response
ends with the message
"...
configure: error: Installation of tcldebug seems incomplete.
Please correct the problem or re-run with --with-tcldebug=no.
Ns configuration failed! Exiting ..."
I do not know at all how to proceed. Could you please help?
Below I include the entire screen log of the session.
I am merely a user of Unix (Linux), not a programmer, needing very much
to use your software for my long-term project on QoS in IP networks.
Thank you very much indeed.
Regards,
Miroslav I. Klun
