Ask about nam. Don't laugh at me!

I installed the ns-allinone-2.1b3. But 
when I run the scripts in the ns-2/tcl/ex,
when running nam, it told me:

nam: unknown event at offset 21 in `out.nam'
nam: `V -t * -v 1.0b6 -a 0
'
Is there anything wrong with the version of nam? I checked the 
version, it is nam 1.0a4.
