Dear Wood,
  Thanks for help! I have tried different methods as below, however can't
solve the problem.

1.copy the source code --> modify the files --> run "./configure" --> run
"make" --> ns success

2.copy the source code --> modify the files --> run "make distclean" --> run
"./configure" --> run "make" --> ns success

3. delete all the codes of ns (install with ns-allinone-2.1b3 packet) -->
ungip the packet again --> copy the source code --> modify the files --> run
"./install" --> ns success

  The results are the same. The operation of copy and modify is follow by
"mftp_readme.html" and NS Tutorial(for Ping). I don't familiar with TCL
debug but familiar with c/c++.
  A clue about MFTP is I saw " ../mcast/mftp_rcv_stat.tcl can't be opened or
found..." when I maked the program.The screen is scrolled very fast that I
can't catch it in
details. I don't know how to save the middle compile information.
  What is function of "make depend"? Does it the same as "make distclean"?
It is curious to me. Have you any suggestion?

Did you recompile ns by doing a make depend?
