ns 2.1b3 causes core dump on Solaris

Hi,

I compiled ns 2.1b3 on Solaris 2.5.1 using gcc 2.8.1 successfully.
However, when executed, it causes segementation fault when it tries to
bind a Tcl variable to a Traced variable.  The same programme runs
perfectly on Linux 2.0.30 and DEC OSF/1.  Any pointer would be very much
appreciated.  Thanks.
