Hi,

You can use nam's "label" function to add lable to the node. 
nam1.0a6 has the feature. however, you must download ns snapshot in order
to let ns dump the label info into nam if you do not want to edit nam
tracefile by hand.

Here is the ns command to add label:
$ns at 3.6 "$n(0) label abc"

Here is the nam trace example for label
n -t 1 -s 6 -S DLABEL -l 4 -L ""
