Re: HTTP in NS
PagePool/Trace is used only for the trace format in Gwertzman's simulator
(ftp://eecs.harvard.edu/pub/vino/usenixsim.tar.gz).
In order to use proxy/server trace to drive cache simulations, you can use
PagePool/ProxyTrace. A converter is available for 4 trace formats: DEC,
UCB Home-IP, NLANR and EPA. It's available at
http://www.isi.edu/~haoboy/files/tr-conv.tar.gz. Usage and trace
information is available in that distribution.
For an example as how to use PagePool/ProxyTrace, an example script is
avalable in ~ns/tcl/ex/simple-webcache-trace.tcl.
