Hi, I do not know how to, but I think you can refer to Chapter 21.3,
especially information related to "TrafficTrace", in "ns Notes and
Documentation".
(You can get it at http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/ns/nsDoc.ps.gz)
Hope this can help you, or you can modify the source of ns to add your
own features.
