NS-ALLINONE2.1b5 Bug fix
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
All,
We have learned that in the recent version of our `allinone' package,
some configuration scripts fail to find the right `tclsh',
i.e. tclsh8.0. Hence the installation process either failed or found
a wrong tclsh in the path.
To fix this problem, a patch is now available. It forces the
configuration scripts to look for the `tclsh8.0'. You can download
the patch from either one of the two locations:
http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/dist/vint/ns-allinone-2.1b5.patch
ftp://mash.cs.berkeley.edu/dist/vint/ns-allinone-2.1b5.patch
To fix the problem, place the patch at the allinone top directory,
same level as the installation script, and do the following:
1- Apply it by typing:
patch -p < ns-allinone2.1b5.patch
2- Delete your configuration cache files (config.cache) from
your OTcl, TclCl, ns, and nam directories, and finally
3- run install.
It is important that you remove the cache files or the changes will
not take into effect.
Also a corrected `allinone' version is available. They can be
downloaded from the following locations:
http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/dist/vint/ns-allinone2.1b5a.tar.gz
ftp://mash.cs..berkeley.edu/dist/vint/ns-allinone2.1b5a.tar.gz
Thanks,
Nader Salehi
