enum_tracedVars()

I have downloaded and installed newest version of NS-2. However when I
compiled it gave message: undefined symbol enum_tracedVars(). This is
function call in agent.cc file. I tried to find this function but it is
not defined anywhere. I commented out this line and code compiled fine,
but now I can not trace. Does anyone know the solution to this?

I also tried to cout something and it always gives buss error.
