asking again, how to make fading mobile node?

Hi.

I ask this  twice. I received the answers today, but unfortunatly I lost
the answers.
Because I don't remember what the answers are, I ask again.

In the wireless-network connected to the wired network, fading mobile
nodes  exist.
These are not able to connect to access-point. So packets foraward to
the nodes can't reach.
I think this situation is existable.

I want to make this.
I have two questions.  The first, I think i t could be done  if the
mobile node move away out of the range of  access point. I  don't know
how the range of the access point is, and what NS provides for it.
The second, some solutions of making of fading mobile nodes could be.
what are they?
