nam is not working....

I just started ns and have big problem from the start. Could anyone help
me? I downloaded "allinone" package and it seemed work OK first. But when
I tried example1.tcl from Marc Greis's tutorial, I got the following
message. 

ns: finish: couldn't execute "nam": no such file or directory
    while executing
"exec nam out.nam &"
    (procedure "finish" line 7)
    invoked from within
"finish"


The allinone package doesn't have "nam"? Or do I have set a path for nam? 

 
Actually when I install ns, I got the message at the end that :

     Please put /home/thwang/NS/ns-allinone-2.1b5/otcl-1.0a4 into your
     LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment!

Not knowing LD_LIBRARY_PATH, I simply ignored it. Is the above result due
to this? Could anyone help me?
