This message announces a pre-release of xgraph-12.1.

Paul Walker and folks at NCSA (the most recent maintainers) have given
their blessing for VINT to take over maintenance.  This pre-release
includes the bug-fixes and portability fixes posted to the ns web
pages.

The 12.1 pre-release web page is
<http://www-mash.CS.Berkeley.EDU/vint/xgraph/>, the source can be
gotten from
<http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/dist/vint/xgraph-pre-12.1.tar.gz>.

We particularly encourage portability bug reports at this time (send
mail to [email protected]).  Pre-12.1 should build
successfully on Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris.

We expect a final 12.1 release in the next few weeks.
