[ns] problem with make

Hi,

First of all I remember that such a question was already asked, but I
could find that message via the "search old archives of ns-users." link.

I have written a agent, and hence need to 'make'.

When run 'configure' in the 'ns-2.1b6' directory, I get the following
error message:

loading cache ./config.cache
No .configure file found in current directory

Here's the info returned by 'uname -a':
SunOS n00112-104afc.unity.ncsu.edu 5.6 Generic_105181-13 sun4u sparc

Pls. help me fix the problem.

Thanks and regards,
Sudhin.
