[ns] a Q about tell simulation when to stop

HI, there, 

Is there a convenient interface in ns that I can tell the simulation stops
exactly after TCP sender send out some specified number of bytes of
traffic?

since TCP doing congestion control, so how can I specify a simulation run
involves some specific number of traffic, instead of telling ns the time
to stop?
