[ns] PrProblem in Runninng TCL Scripts in ns-2 [Urgent Help needed]

Dear Ns users
I am a very new to ns-2 simulator and recently i downloaded ns-2 on my
Linux Machine (RedHat ver 6.0), and it gives me following error while i
try to run ns command:
 ns-2> ns tcl/ex/simple.tcl
210
0.0037499999999999999
running nam...
ns: finish: couldn't execute "nam": permission denied
    while executing
"exec nam out.nam &"
    (procedure "finish" line 8)
    invoked from within
"finish"                   

Can any one let me know what is the problem here, I am also sending my
LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH information below:

I have tried to search ns-mail list for possible solutions , but I have
failed to understand why this error is comming. Can any one help me in
letting me know that am i missing some files from my PATH and
LD_LIBRARY_PATH information?
