I try to use the ping packet with a wireless network and I get the error

(null) - invalid packet type ( ping ).


is there any way around this? I have worked out my own network routing scheme through the recv function of the ping agent into my own agent type.  It works great with wired networks and I was hoping to be able to use a variation of it to simulate a small wireless network, but the damn thing says my packet is invalid.  is there a way around this?
