[ns] Urgent help about LAN.

Hi Ns Users
I am simulating a LAN in 2.17a.I am running TCP and
UDP flows for some time.In the trace file  there are
some packet drops for CBR source using UDP.I wanted to
know about

1-	where these packets are being dropped.(i.e in
queue) As I see they are dropped in the link from
source to the Lan Node.According to the NS manual
there is a queue in LL.Is this the same queue as in
the link,
2-	If so then the packets are dropped in the source ??
Or where??
3-	I see that the graph for TCP flow has ups and
downs.In trace file there are no drops and
retransmission. Then why the graphs goes like this.
Any suggestion??
4-	As in Lan there should be no drops as it is using
CSMA/CD.But why CBR source Packets are dropped.
5-	What is the function of queue in LL and where is
the queue from where the packets are dropped.As due to
blocker and un blocker I don't think there should be
any drops at the source.

Any help will be appreciated.
