Sorry that this is not a reply to your post earlier. I am an undergraduate
working on a project to write and simulate a new MAC protocol to carry IP
over a wireless optical medium, and were wondering whether you had any
pointers as to how to start something like this and what I need to simulate
etc. I would be most grateful of your help as at the moment I am at a loss
as to how to get NS to do this, and where to start. I presume that your
field is on a similar area to this and look forwards to any ideas
