[ns] use TCL to build ns agent?

Hi,

First, I am a beginner for NS, just begin to work on my master's project to 
build some composable agents for a teaching system to demonstrate how 
network protocol works.

Is it possible to use only TCL to build a ns agent? or what will be the 
shortest path to do this? I have noticed that in the tcl/ex/ folder of NS 
there is a agent-gen.tcl, but when I looked into it, I got lost by the tcl 
grammar... Any body can tell me is this the example to generate a ns agent 
by tcl? If it is, which will be easier to create an agent, tcl or c++?

Many many thanks, else I have to reconsider if it is a right choice to work 
on this master's project.
