[ns] Question about wireless3.tcl throughput result

Hi ns users,

I run the wireless3.tcl example from the tutorial with no changes except

that the mobile stays in its original position for the whole simulation
time and got  a throughput of  1.278Mbs (23964 TCP packets received by
MH / 150 sec of active FTP).  Isn't this value too low? Since the
wireless channel rate is 2Mbs, I was expecting some value closer to
2Mbs, like at least 1.6Mbs, due to MAC overheads. Am I missing something

here?
