ns works fine with solaris. I installed it on a solaris box just a few days ago.
After looking trought the output you posted, it looks like that your machine is not
configurated to compile things. The install script couldn't find make, gcc, cc ...
That means there is no path set to this files, or they are not installed at all.
Do you have a system administrator for this machine? Then ask him/her, to set your
environment correctly and/or to install the programms you need. If not than you can try to
set it on your own. Make and gcc should be in /usr/local/bin/
