[ns] how to add more UI to nam

Hi All,

      I was interested in viewing node specific information while playing
the simulation on nam. The node specific information can be application
statistics running on particular node or power consumption at particular
node.
      The way i want to view this information is.. if i click on a
particuler node i want a window to be poped up and shows the node specific
information at that instant of time in simulation. And i also want the
newly created window and main nam window should be in sync to show the
simulation results.

     Can anyone please let me know how to go about this or how to do it?? 
I understand that the nam works by reading the .nam file which records the
simulation results. How to add my application specific data to this and
how to retrieve this?
