I am also trying to show the queue status, packets dropped and bandwidth,
throughput and delay on links. I am at a loss with how to do this and would
appreciate any help you can give me.

I don't know whether you know or not, but I am trying to also find a way to
vary the load so that I can draw the pretty throughput vs load, delay vs
load and power vs load diagrams that people find so useful during protocol
design etc
