[ns] Maximum number of TCP Sender?
Hi.
I use FreeBSD for ns simulator
tenet2@~/work/afd/tcp> uname -a
FreeBSD tenet2.knu.ac.kr 4.1-STABLE FreeBSD 4.1-STABLE #5: Fri Aug 11
14:08:16 KST 2000 root@tenet2.knu.ac.kr:/usr/src/sys/compile/TENET2
i386
system memeory 256M
Swap : 256M
I use ns-2.1b7a
Unfortunately, A few month ago, I asked same question but haven't receive
any answer yet...
Here is my network configuration
S1----| |-----R1
| |
S2----|------G0-------G1------|-----R2
. | | .
. | | .
. | | .
S1024---| |-----R1024
S# : TCP Sender R# : TCP Receiver
G0,1 : Gateway
I test some packet scheduling algorithm.
When the number of sender is small, ns works
but number of sender reaches about 1024, ns core dumps.
To reduce memory comsumption, I don't use any queue trace monitor, etc.
But problem stil exiest
here are my error code.============
