Add the NS to your path.

eg. using the command:

export
PATH=$PATH:$NS2HOME/bin:$NS2HOME/tcl8.3.2/unix:$NS2HOME/tk8.3.2/unix:$NS2HOME/tclcl-1.0b10

where $NS2HOME is the directory you installed NS2
