[ns] REPOST: Lan queues?

Does anyone know how to monitor a queue after using the 'make-lan' command?
I tried using the following commands but it still doesn't work:

set lan_ [$ns make-lan $nodelist $LinkRate $LinkDelay LL \
	Queue/DropTail Mac/802_3 Channel]

set lanif [$lan_ set lanIface_($node(0))]
set l_ifq [$lanif set ifq_]
set qmon [$ns monitor-queue $l_ifq ""]
----

Thanks!
