Re: [ns] Multicast receiver on a leaf node
Hi,
sorry for posting again, but in my last mail i was
wrong, i feel i have to correct myself:
i've run some simulations dumping
1)the sequence with which replicators are installed on
the nodes
2) every invocation of handle-cache-miss and add-mfc
methods and the corresponding time and node
I've found out that the replicator is installed on the
leaf node when the leaf node receives a packet
belonging to the group of interest for the first time:
this triggers the invocation of handle-cache-miss that
in turn invokes add-mfc; then the replicator is
installed, and points to the agent that had previously
joined (it is a task of add-mfc to check this).
Cheers :)
