[ns] Cellular IP

Hi
I am Kalyan Vissa, currently doing my Master's Degree in Electrical 
Engineering at the university of toledo, Ohio.I am currently working on the 
simulation of Cellular IP, a protocol developed by the guys at Columbia. I 
want to use ns-2 for the simulation purposes, but i wanted to find out a few 
details before i begin.
1. does ns-2 have an existing wireless network model?
2.Can i program/edit these wireless nodes to suit my needs, if so can i do 
it in C++ or do i need to know any other language?
3.Does ns-2 use its own routing protocol between the wireless nodes or will 
i be able to include a routing protocol of my own?

Its very imperative for me to know the answer to the 2nd question. Kindly 
reply.
