RE: [ns] periods

The time period of each state is deterministic and the transitions among states
are expressed with a set of probabilities. After the time designated for a state is expired,
the transition would be determined probabilically.

Subject: [ns] periods

hi at all,
in the multistate error model, the array periods means deterministic duration of each state or mean duration of each state?
if it is mean duration what is the stochastic law of this duration?
