[ns] "rate"-parameter in expoo-traffic source

-hi all,

what does the rate parameter in the exponential-on-off-source mean?

if i would like for example generate a 100kbit/s data-stream, and i choose a packetsize of 200( think packetsize is in bytes,is it?) and an idle- and burst rate of 10ms, what has then the rate to be?

and what is the unit of rate (bit, byte, packet?)
