Hello,

To run you should at least compile the nse

download the latest version of ns and type "make nse" to compile it.

For me nse did not work on Linux 7.1 out of the box. I have patched the
emulation parts for linux.

This patch is downloadable from the ns-user mailing list. As I have only
recently submited this patch, it is probably not in the snapshots.

Could you please verify that the patched simulator works on your system?
this will probably help in support for linux in nse.
