light to my problem..... But, my system is Intel solaris7..
so what type I shnd put ??? in
the configure file .

What kind of system are you trying to compile on? It
appears that the
configure script is not working when trying to compile on your computer. Try running ./configure in the otcl directory and then do a make in that directory. If ./configure doesn't work you may have to tell it your system type. For example on my linux machine: ./configure --build=i686-unknown-linux --host=i686-unknown-linux --target=i686-unknown-linux You would have to change "i686-unknown-linux" to whatever machine type you have. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
