We are two students of the Politechnical University
of Catalonia (Spain). We are working with ns-2.1b8a to simulate Mobile IP but we
have some problems to configure the radio interface bandwidth.
First we tried with command: Phy/WirelessPhy set Rb_
64e+3 but we realized this has no efect on the simulation. After it, we
tried with command Mac/802_11 set bandwidth_
0.064Mb but we realized that it didn't work unless we set Mac/802_11 set bandwidth_
0.128Mb. With this configuration, we obtain a radio interface bandwidth
of about 64 Kbps (just half of 128 kbps!! ).
Could anyone explain the reason for
this behavior and the best way to configure the radio interface bandwidth ??
And what is command Phy/WirelessPhy set Rb_
64e+3 used for ??
We have already visited the Columbia University web
site but we haven't found any answer for this.
