[ns] Issues in mobile adhoc networks routing

Hullo,
I am trying to write a multicast routing agent for a
Mobile adhoc network.Essentially this is what I want
to do:I want to create 25 nodes of which say 15 nodes
want to participate in the multicast. My multicast
protocol is based on the Route Discovery option of the
DSR protocol.
My questions:
1.How do I assign the IP addresses for a multicast. How
do I assign a common multicast address to all?I read
through the Multicast chapter in the manual. If i
follow them a lot seems to be done automatically and
since I do not completely understand it I would not
think it wise to use.
Any other method?
2.In the protocol I want to use MAC_802.11 so that
each link in the route to my destination will be
bi-directional.Is it just sufficient to put the MAC
protocol name like so
$node1 node-config -macType MAC802_11
where $node1 is my mobile node
or do I have to do additional scripting in Tcl to set
up the protocol stack correctly in the mobile node?
3.Would I have to assign MAC addresses to each node
specifically? If not how are they being assigned?
Thanks in advance,
bindu
