[ns] Modelling of the Internet
Hi. every ns-users......
I am new to ns.
I proposed some protocol that provides a loss recovery.
I want to evaluate the performance of my loss recovery scheme using ns.
I want to test my new protocol in the environtment similar to the real
Internet.
I generated random transit-stub topology of 100 nodes using GT-ITM.
But I don't know how to generate "cross-traffic".
I think "cross-traffic" is used to generate the packet loss.
What percentage of TCP(FTP, Telnet, Http) and UDP is adequate to 100-node
transit-stub topology?
And I really want to know how to generate the cross-traffic "randomly"???
(Randomly selected senders and receivers, Random transmission time)
I'd like to see the sample code(TCL) including large-scale topology and
cross-traffic.
Please help me.
I am so sorry to bother you.
