Network infrastructure tasks include:

Internet Assigned Numbers Authority
(IANA):

The IANA is the central coordinator of the assignment of
unique protocol and parameters values for the global Internet. Assignment
typically include port numbers, IP address blocks to the regional registries,
multicast addresses, and many more.

RFC Editor:
-
The RFC Editor is responsible for the publishing of standards
for Internet development. Close coordination with the IETF
is required as well as coordination with the Internet community.

Internet Monthly
Report (IMR):

Monthly report of Internet activities.

Operation of the DARTNET experimental network, including
scheduling
