Christos,
My thesis focused on exploring methods for protocol evaluation
in the context of topology change---including evaluations of SRM.
Given that this was initial exploration into hitherto uncharted
territory, my scripts only considered simple topologies. However,
my scripts are available off the web at
http://www.isi.edu/~kannan/code/impact.tar.gz
On the offchance that you find it useful, you can also find and
pick up some tools I used to drive my simulations, and process
the results at http://www.isi.edu/~kannan/code/srm-scripts.tar.gz.
One person who has used ns to compare the performance of SRM with
another multicast transport protocol is Christoph Haenle <[email protected]>.
He compared SRM with MFTP. I am taking the liberty of mentioning
him, hoping he does not mind. You might want to probe him directly
for more details about his work.
