If you're using a proxy cache for both ftp and http, it's possible
that that contains an incomplete copy as a result of the proxy's
download from berkeley being incomplete. A fast download is a dead
giveaway...
The normal snapshots under our mirror at:
ftp://ftp.ee.surrey.ac.uk/pub/Mirrors/mash.cs.berkeley.edu/dist/vint/
are okay. Since we're mirroring ftp rather than http, we're not
mirroring:
http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/dist/vint/ns-src-wireless-ver.tar.gz
http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/dist/vint/ns-src-wireless-ver-old.tar.gz
and in any case
http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/dist/vint/
shows that these are dated 4th May (not 30th April) and are 15.3 and
15Mb respectively.
If Andree could grab a mirrored wireless version from our mirror, he
might find it easier to get...
It might be an idea to move download problems to the top of:
http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/ns/ns-problems.html
btw, and mention and link to our mirror there too. If you're having
problems downloading from the US, the European mirror is a Good Bet
as a solution.
Cheers,
L.
