help needed for compiling nse under FreeBSD 3.3

I had compiled ns as well as nse under FreeBSD 2.2.8 but when I try to do
the same under FreeBSD 3.3. , ns compiles successfully but I get a lot of
syntax errors in the file 'socket.h' when I try to compile nse.

Could some one please help me with this ?
Has anyone compiled nse on FreeBSD 3.3 ?
