[ns] query regarding MMPP source

hi all,

Does anybody know about how to implement an MMPP source in ns? Does there
already exist an implementation? As far as i know the kind of source which
is somewhat like it is the Expoo source. The source however transmits
packets at a fixed rate during the ON period (and does not transmit
any packet during the OFF period) which is not what is wanted.
The source is required to be Poisson with a certain rate (instead of 
sending packets at a fixed rate) during the ON period.
 
If my understanding is faulty,I would be grateful if the error is pointed
out.
