[ns] Question on IFQ of mobile node
Hi Haobo,
I simulate a wired+wireless network including mobile-ip. I saw some packets
dropped because of no buffer space in IFQ of the mobile node. I set the
size of ifq for the mobile node (ifqlen option) to 50 packets. But just
after 10th packet, one packet is dropped after every two packets sent
because of no buffer space. Do you think it is a bug ?. I use the latest
version of daily snapshot.
Then I increased the ifqlen option but I still get the same problem. Liu
liqun and Rohit ( people on ns-user mailing list) suggested me to use
"Queue set limit_ " to change the size of the queue but the result doesn't
change. I want to use queue monitor to see the ifq size in packet. But I
can only use queue monitor on a wired link. Do you know is there any way to
check the the size of ifq of a mobile node?.
Could you please help
Thank you very much,
Cindy
