Re: [ns] Getting neighbor list



In aodv.cc, if you dectivate the feedback from the mac
layer, there is a neighbor discovery protocol which
keeps a list of neighbors up to date using hello
beacons sent at regular intervals.

You can find this neighbor discovery protocol isolated
from the rest of AODV in a C++ class called ndp in the
ZRP implementation for ns-2b6. See the ns contributed
modules page.

You will also find there a magical (and hence
irrealistic) Mac layer (mac_null.cc) which knows the
list of neighbors because it extracts it from the GOD
information of a setdest-generated scenario.
