[ns] Concept of channel in wireless simulations



Dear all,
I understand there exists a concept of a channel in
ns(intended mainly for wireless ad -hoc
simulations).In case one wishes to extend the concept
of Sean Murphy's RSVP to wireless networks what kind
of changes are likely to be necssary?Since there is
only one channel for all mobile nodes how id the idea
of reserving bandwidth relevant?
I read somewhere that Charlie Perkins'  modifications
for mobileIp are based on a concept of links like in
wired simulations.If anyone has any idea as to how
this was done then please get back to me because an
extension to the same idea might make it possible to
extend the present RSVP to wired-cum-wireless
simulations.
