[ns] directional antennas and ad-hockey

Hi, all.

I have two questions.

1)
In wireless, is it possible to use antenna pattern as 
directional antenna?

2)
Although wireless ad-hoc modules, such as AODV, 
are included in ns-2 as standard, is it necessary to 
install ad-hockey of CMU Monarch Project?
If it needs to incorporate, what will change?
