[ns] warning: no class variable

hi there..

I have defined the variable called "lost" in the tcp.cc

now I want to access this variable in my tcl scripts. I have updated
ns-default.tcl. and have also written the corresponding bind statements
in the tcp.cc

But I am still getting the above warning..

Can someone guide me through the How to access the variable, and get
rid of this warning..
